Basically, I want to make a 6 channel temperature controller with an LCD display that will do the following:
· Display the current temperature of each analogue temperature sensor on the display. As the LCD screens are usually 2 rows of text in height, there would need to be some up and down arrows to scroll through each sensor
· Have an alarm set point for each temp sensor that can be adjustable via buttons
· A digital output for each temp sensor that will turn on if a sensor goes into alarm, off again when the sensor returns below alarm threshold.
· When a sensor goes into alarm, the LCD display automatically scrolls to that sensor
The button set up I am thinking of is: Up, down, left, right and a set/mode button in the middle. The up and down arrows would be used in conjunction with the set/mode button to adjust the alarm set point. The left and right arrows would be used to scroll between the 6 temperature readouts
