Hello, i need a cheap but not inaccurate solution to communicate(BUS) many arduinos each other. One local arduino controller will control an AC motor (with a two channel relay module) through a local "Left/Right button" and at the same time will be controlled by a remote "Left/Right button" (through the BUS) which will control a group of many local controllers. Each local AC controller will have positioning capabilities. A total movement time (from Left to Right or Right to left) will given (or messured) and it will always track this position in order to move the AC motors (30% for example) from any local push button (may be by a double click) or the Group of local controllers which will remotely controlled by a remote "Left/Right push-button". i do not know what bus protocol will be used but i have in my mind the 1 - wire or rs485 (the distance may be more than 100meters), but we will talk later for it, Thank you...

Hi, I have experience in Arduino developing. I can do your project. Good idea is to use RS485 (MAX485) to connect modules. Can you send me schematic or hand drawing of your idea? Regards, Slavi.

Hello. Im designing different electronics devices, mostly based on avr, arm MCUs and boards with them like arduino, stm-discovery etc. I can help you with your deal and since im new one here I can do it cheaper then anybody. (autopromotion^)) The only thing I understood, that you want to communicate some amount of devices and they are controling some motors. Communication is obviously uart through rs485, 1-wire is bad for big distances. Or CAN, but to complex and fat. And some high level protocol ofc.

Hello! I have experience programming in C / C + + for almost 20 years. Devices based on Arduino, I'm doing more than 3 years. I have experience writing applications "client-server" for the Arduino, writing applications to interface Arduino and Android, integration of Arduino and Processing. I have experience making "smart house" on the Arduino (arduino, php, javascript, AJAX, JSON). More, I have experience in: - making hydroponics installations on Arduino - the control system with LED lights for plants light - equipment for the reality-show "Treasure Rom" - Access Control Systems for printing equipment with RFID - The control system for the aquarium. PH, heating, lighting. I am ready to write a program for Arduino and provide a complete description of the device.

Hello, I have read through your requirements and have a fairly good idea what you are looking for. Simply put, you have a set of Arduinos, you need them to each have the ability to control a connected motor (with sensor feedback for positioning) and respond to local input. These units would also communicate these put presses to one another over a common bus, capable of operating over 100 meters. My suggestions in regards to bus selection would be dependant on the model on Arduino you plan to use, however all current Arduinos at the very least support I2C which may be an option at first for simplicity. I have been coding for AVR 8-bit uControllers since transitioning over from the PIC16F84 over eight years ago, I am highly experienced coding for these chips and know I can have this put together in a couple days. I currently have most ATMega microcontrollers used in the Arduinos on hand (8,328,1284,2560) and can pick up anything specific that may be needed. I look forward to speaking with you further in regards to the project details. In the mean time I will put together a small sample of Arduino code (using the I2C bus, to keep it generic) to give you an idea of what I believe you are looking for. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Gregory Jackson
