I need a freelancer to make a sample project for me using the PTP2.0 library ([login to view URL] using pull request 1 as well), the project will build on the PTP Capture example which takes a photo, except the sample project will return the date/time of the photo taken (from a connected camera), and also the filename of the photo taken (again from a connected camera).
There are already examples in the PTP library of taking a photo, and returning object information from the camera, I suspect it will just be a case of joining it all toghether.
The important thing is that it uses a generic PTP example, e.g. not specific to canon or Nikon (although I use a Nikon DSLR), and that it returns the date/time of the captured image (e.g. from the camera's settings), and the filename.
It would be great if your example could also return the start date/time, and end date/time if a loop of images is taken.
This is a small budget project, e.g. <$50 since it is for personal use and not for a commercial project. I have a USB host shield, and camera as well as teamviewer I can give you remote access to if you need to test the code or work out the flow etc.
I have experiance using arduino and related libraries. I have done projects on arduino like home automation and reading and modifying files on sd card, etc. I would like to give this a shot. And if I successfully develope the code you want and if you are satisfied with it then you can hire me.

Good Day!
I would like to express my interest in helping you out on your project. As you said there are already examples available and its all a matter of putting them all together, well basically that is how Arduino is being used now a days. It is widely used so it means there are so many guides or codes already available and its just a matter of tweaking or modifying the given codes to your specified requirements. So I can greatly help you on this as I have been doing this for 3 years on my personal project. Hope that you would consider me for this task! Thank You! :)
