We have a OSC web site since 10 years with a lot of customization.

All developments are done internally. Now we are looking for a long term relationship with a freelancer to increase the number of new features. In the mid term, big revolution need to be implemented (going to a full bootstrap web site...)

This first project is to evaluate your capability to follow our development process, deadline, quality of code and so one. If we are satisfy, be sure that you will have long term job with us.

Abstract of the project in one line:

Through a FAQ tree, give the capability to the customer to found an immediate answer to his question before sending his request through the contact form.

All details (functional and technical) are describe in the wiki part of our forge (we use Redmine). We will use the products and categories table for this project.

You will have a read access to our forge if you are in short list. You will have a write access to our forge if you are the winner.

Our development process:

- First you have to build in your local environment our website. To do this you will have to clone our git master branch and follow instructions in our wiki to create and populate the initial database, the apache configuration...

- You have a read access to the master branch, and a write access to the project branch (which is called faq-v1). You have to code the functionality, and puch it in the branch.

- Then I will review your code, and it's tested by a non technical guys in our staging server. Detected bugs are created in trouble tickets in the forge. You have to solve them, puch again the revised code... and so one

Be careful: we don't want to repeat by chat or trouble ticket what we have already written in the wiki. We spend a lot of time to explain and describe everything in the wiki, you have to read it carefully. I am a developer, so I know what you need to do code. I can forget something, but generally it's you that forget to read a part of a wiki page. When a wiki page is missing (the description of a table for instance), I can write it to complete, step by step, all the description of our web site.

Your financial offer need to match the first project describe above. You can adjust your financial offer after reading our wiki/forge.
