I have read and understood your requirements. I have some ideas to improve database. You will need to have one table for the Recipe (it will have next fields: name, menu section(drop down table 4), recipe yield, recipe yield unit (drop down from table 3)), and one more that will be related with this table. This table will store information about ingredients.
If i understood correctly Dishes table would represent meal that is made and its cost. My idea is that Dishes table have relation with Recipe table (dishes table will have foreign key from recipe table), and there should be a field for number of made meals of that type. There would be form to select dish from dropdown list that will show all recipes, and after that enter number of dishes, with calculated price.
Required forms and reports are easy to create.
Also, does this database needs to have a login form, and users with different access rights?
Currently, i don't work on any project and i can commit entirely to this one. If there is something that i understood wrong, or you have some questions about my idea or experience, please let me know.
