Data entry/VA - University faculty/professors listing

A SAMPLE ASSIGNMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ORDER FOR YOU TO BE CONSIDERED. DETAILS OF THE ASSIGNMENT CAN BE FOUND BELOW. *Background* We are a startup company focusing on e-learning. All of our customers are professors from Universities and colleges. In order to reach these professors, we require their contact information, which is always listed on the website of the University in which they teach. We would like someone to lookup websites of various assigned universities in order to give our team a list of Qualified Professors Leads. Qualified Professor Leads are defined as: - Professors who will be teaching in the Spring, Summer and/or Fall sessions of 2012. *Job Description* You are required to locate as many Qualified Professor Leads as possible from the Universities you will be assigned. You are then required to input their name and contact information into a spreadsheet file that will be provided to you (please see attached sample spreadsheet). You will be compensated 15 cents (Canadian Dollars) per Qualified Professor Lead. (This must include the professor's name; phone number and/or email address; the course she/he teaches in the upcoming semester, and the number of students in their class). What to do: • Look up the schedule of classes in the university website and check courses in the upcoming semester. • List must include only LECTURE courses (don't list any labs, or online courses, seminar, tutorial.. we don't want them!) with the following maximum enrollment capacity (for Fall/Spring: 100 and above, for Summer: 40 and above) • You need to look up the instructor's name to find their homepage and get their contacts after extracting the data from the class schedule. • You should make sure that for every row, the following cells are filled in: Name of the instructor; Title (example: Assistant prof, Chair, Director of the center); ORG. (name of the university or college); DEPT. (The department); Email; Phone; Course taught in the upcoming semester; and capacity (maximum enrollment capacity). How to appy: We are looking for qualified freelancers IMMEDIATELY. If interested, please populate the attached xls file with minimum of 5 Qualified Professor Leads for each of the following three Universities: McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) University of Calgary (Calgary, Canada) University of Louisville (Louisville, KY) A sample list can be found in the attached spreadsheet.
