This is fairly simple, but would possibly suit someone with at least a very small bit of accounting knowledge.
I need someone to look through a collection of around 100 annual reports and record some key metrics for me. The items I need collected are:
Number of words in the report
Number of words related to social projects, charity, environment, community
Value of social investment and charity giving for the year
Gross revenue
Profit before tax
Gross profit (gross revenue minus cost of goods sold)
Net Assets
Total assets
All the financial figures are very obvious on the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
The list of companies and their annual reports will be provided. The template for collecting and entering the data will also be provided. In total there are 30 companies.
This has to be completed within a few days. Payment will be made as soon as one of my staff checks that the numbers are correct.
Details such as reports and the template will be provided in a Dropbox account which you will have read/write access to. Another method of access can be created if you prefer.
The only difficulty in this is that most reports are in PDF format and so getting wordcounts can be a bit tricky and will need you to move this into Microsoft Word. The 'Number of words related to social projects, charity, environment, community' can require you to look through the text in the report a little.
