Hello there, I have an Excel-based framework which allows me to interface quickly and simply to existing websites which allows me to concentrate on the scraping part of the project and not coding a scraper from scratch. I am an Excel master so have no issues getting the software to do what I want and I have plenty of experience with VBA and HTML/DHTML/CSS and web coding so I can quickly decipher the target page to locate the required information. For the argos site you will need to create an account and give it a location in order to access stock details for a given order code. I will give you an Excel interface that will log into Argos for you and then you put in the stock code you want to look up and it will return whether it is in stock at your chosen location. Argos do not publish "we have xxx items in stock" - purely if it is in stock currently or would be in stock at a given day so this is not straightforward. Hope to hear from you soon. /R.
