I have a data base spread across four or five files that needs to be consolidated, cross referenced and prepared for an ebook. The data base for the ebook will be updated and made available to subscribers on a quarterly basis. (which means this will be an ongoing assignment) The set up is: subscribers will come to the internet site or any other site where they can purchase the subscription. They will then download the e-book into a PDF or a Kindle etc format. Once they have the ebook on their computer, they will be able to create their own files with selected names from the e-book that will be automatically formatted for a mail merge snail mail and a email mail merge which means right from the start, the set up of the data base into the e-book is more than name address, tel email etc. It's very important this gets right so down the line the mail merge option is available so a subscriber doesn't have to cut and paste the names and addresses into a letter.
