Hi, I suggest you use Perl for this. It will easy and quit fast to do. Excel will never will be able to do this job. I have done this kind of file handling and excel has failed in it. So, used Perl. Understand, how to do this job. Skills in VBA, experiance of working in word, excel, access. No problem with this job and those tasks from discription.

Hi! I would like offer my Consulting Services to execute your job. I can develop a tool (app) in Java or Visual Basic to execute your job. This app will have these elements: 1.- Folder to process. 2.- A checkbox to select if delete the file processed or move to another folder 3.- Folder to move the processed files The database maybe will be PostgresSql since i don not like how MS Access works with Big Data.
