Compiling a spreadsheet for a project. All excel work. Nothing too hard core.
Task:
* Must speak good English
* Should have Skype to dialogue with
* Will be a period to discuss the method, all of course on the clock.
* If done efficiently, will have more tasks needed
* Knowing Word a plus, experience in documentation creation a plus.
Compile Parts in a NEAT, CONCISE, and CONSISTENT format that will be uploaded into our existing database. The collection of the data, and correct entry is the meticulous part. This is where i need assistance.
The Neatness must be clean, able to identify, grammar correct, and some more protocols to be addresses with format i provide
The Consistency is where if done correctly, can be reproduced on other projects, (more in the works)
The collection of the info will come from 3 others spreadsheets. So no web searching or cross platform searches. Just use references and data from other spreadsheets to compile in a master one.
To further provide clarity, the spreadsheet im looking for spare parts, the manufacturer part #, name are all provided. But now i must collect it in another sheet, with similiar format with Asset numbers and names attached on same line. So when this sheet is uploaded with all spare parts it can be linked (tagged) to the asset number. Sounds simple, but the asset numbering or method can be just a little bit tricky if not understood. The importance is, if these parts are linked to the wrong asset, then job was a failure.
Total 5000 line items. Total 200+ assets. I have all the info. I have almost completed the spreadsheet for upload, but it will need cleaned up, and checked for errors, and finish what little i leave.
I figure if i explain my philosophy, then your ingenuity will take over.
