I would like a simple Arduino sketch written to include a 16x2 LCD. There will be four input buttons. '+', '-', 'enter' and 'reset'. Triggering is by way of laser pointer and LDR.
When 'reset' is pressed, the user is prompted to set number of laps (+/-) then 'enter'. The next prompt is to 'press enter when ready'. Once 'enter' is pressed, the sketch will wait for the laser beam to be broken and begin timing immediately.
When the laser beam is broken again, the lap count will equal 1. After the preset number of laps is reached, the total time is displayed and held until 'reset' is pressed again.
An open source project on GitHub is close to what I need so I could imagine you could use this for reference. [login to view URL]
Hello.
I can make that project.
Do you use the I2C board for connection of LCD?
This make the connection much more simple and stable.
