component: download and parse emails

I need a high performance, robust, well tested software component, which periodically polls an e-mail account via pop3/imap, downloads e-mails to local folder and parses them, extracts: from,to,cc,bcc,priority,subject,body as well as attachments. The component will be embedded into a CRM software developed in c++. Platform: Windows,Linux,Mac Language: preferably c/c++, maybe pearl, or other scripting languages if have good performance... It can be a third party component, or self developed, but shoud have some working references! PLEASE post post some references into your bid!!! Without a reference, I can't select your bid!
