Customised "clipboard" that allows "drag and paste" and then deletes the dragged item

I have used a spreadsheet as an "input designed sheet" then using this I output the data to another "data" spreadsheet for analysis. I have a list of staff at each worksite that I allocate to my designed worksheet that I need (the filtered staff) to be put on either a customised clipboard, or from a list in say column A, so that I can drag and drop them to anywhere else on the same sreadsheet, in a user friendly way i.e. left mouse click...drag and drop to another arbitrary selected cell. I would like this in either VBA or as an Add-In
