Hello, I work as system administrator from 7 years and in this years i've worked a lot on recover data from HD. I've no problem to follow you via remote assistance and guide you trough the steps required to TRY to recover your data. I said TRY cause unfortunatly you can't be sure that you can recover your data and i'll say you why. When you format a HD all the sectors of the HD will be flagged as "blank" and can be rewrited, so if you have manipulated the disk and you've already written other files on this "blank" sector the data of that sector cannot be restored. Anyways this doesn't mean that you have 0 chance to restore your data so we can give it a try and see what data will get recovered. I would like to act as follow: - attach the HD on a working windows machine - let me connect remotely on this windows machine - use some softwares for data recovery We can use skype to comunicate if you let me do this project. I've been in IT for about 20 years and have plenty of data recovery experience. I can get important data recovered, but once that's pulled, then the system will need to be reloaded (if that's an OS drive). If that is an OS drive, you will need another machine or another drive loaded with Windows to run the recovery tool and save data.
