I wonder if someone could answer a general query I have .....

I would like to know, if I was to meet with a fashion designer and give him/her general theme/ideas of the type of style I am looking for, to sell the garments on, what would he/she charge and how long does it take to design an item? Is there a limited number of items you design at any one time?
