add a photo gallery to my website (catalog)

We are looking to add a new catalog as a photogallery to our website. we currently have all pics for the catalog, we'd like to put the catalog as a link in the home page of the website, the first page of the catalog should be the image of the link. When you click on the link, the whole page goes faded and the catalog apears on when you can navigate through the catalog paga by page, and when you click on an item on each page a new picture will open on top of the catalog page.
