Create a data driven GUI animation

I dont know if this is possible but I want you to create an intimation that uses data that is scraped from another website. For example, Lets say I asked you to create a game based on the Stock Market ticker. You create an animation type game where there is a character. If the stock goes up then the character makes a happy face and performs some animation based on the amount of gain. If the stock goes down, the character reacts negatively. Maybe the user can move the character around to talk to people in the environment and they give him information that is based on current real time market data. For example, someone can go into Mcdonalds and the stock price is flashing on the menu. Here is a simple game I found that allows a user to explore their environment and interact with objects.
