This is what I want to show.

I am trying to illustrate the point that there is a difference if you try to clean a volume of "dirty" water if the concentration of dirt in the water drops while you're cleaning it.

If the concentration of dirt stays the same, then once you clean the full volume, you're done.

If you clean a little bit at a time and put the clean water back in, even if you clean the full amount, you have only removed 63% of the dirt.

One way to illustrate this is by cleaning a 1 liter fishtank. If you take out half a gallon and put back 1/2 liter of clean water, you remove 50% of the "fish waste". If you take out 75%, the concentration of waste or dye is reduced by 75%. Finally, if you take out 100% and replace with a liter of clean water, you're done.

Now, on the other hand, if you only have a small cup or spoon, say 1/50th of a liter in volume, and you take out a cupful and replace it with a clean cupful 50 times, you've cleaned 1 liter of water, but you've only removed 63% of the waste.

So this is what I want to show by animation, using perhaps color intensity to represent waste.

In method 1, you take the fish out of the tank, in method 2, the fish stays in place - etc.

So you may want to revise your bids accordingly.

Thanks!

John
