Design a Logo

LOOM Imports is looking for a creative, original design that is unique and fits our brand identity and is a reflection of the company. The logo needs to be simple enough that it can be stamped onto leather and wooden goods without becoming blurred or distorted. I am not interested in anything resembling clip art or generic logos and have posted a few samples of logos I do like. We work with artisan groups including indigenous communities of the Andes mountains of Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, the high Atlas Mountains and Berber tribes of morocco and North Africa, and Hill tribes of Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. We are inspired by their traditional designs, tribal motifs and textiles. Logo style should be sleek, modern and clean. LOOM Imports is an accessories and home goods store store which sells fair trade handmade items. As the name suggest many of our products are woven on traditional looms. Our clientele is high end and appreciate the craftsmanship of the goods. LOOM collections are carefully and selectively curated and we strive for 100% natural materials including Eco friendly and organic materials with minimal processing. Often items are one of a kind and come with a description of the artist that made them and this story. We are interested in preserving the cultural heritage of marginalized people and also the traditional crafts and techniques they use which are being lost to large scale mass production. We great friends with the artisans and producers who make the goods and work directly with them to collaborate and mix traditional and modern elements into our products. LOOM is a social enterprise and works primarily with women's empowerment groups and indigenous communities to provide a market for low income rural artisans.
