Introduction • EatSocial is looking to hire a reputable freelancer to develop its new website. • After an initial screening process, your firm has been identified as a suitable candidate for EatSocial to partner with in developing its new website, and you have been invited to participate in the first stage of the selection process. Business overview • EatSocial aims to provide a social experience around sharing of home-cooked meals or cooking lessons within a dinner party / private kitchen environment • The business model revolves around providing a platform through which site visitors can browse events hosted by cooks and create a booking. • The EatSocial website will be the key customer facing interface for the business, being the main aspect through which: 1. Cooks can create and manage their events to be showcased 2. Customers can browse and search through events 3. Customers can pay for events through the website, using a variety of methods e.g. Credit Card / Paypal Request for Proposal (RFP) • Your RFP submission should include the following: 1. Mock-up graphical design and layout of website, including all pages, menu bars, and functionality 2. Document discussing your website design, back end systems and how it best places EatSocial to capture additional customers and facilitate ease of use 3. Selected portfolio of current and past projects which demonstrate your technical competence and how you added value to your client 4.
