A Multi-Vendor Site with Social Network Features (MarketPress + BuddyPress)

The Project will be a combination of 2 parts: An eCommerce site/ MarketPress Multisite (Multivendor Site) + A BuddyPress Part (Social Network Site) 1- e-Commerce/MultiVendor Site (MarketPress Multisite) Your typical online eCommerce site with a collection of vendors/storefronts containing the usual e-Commerce options such as categorizations, search, payment, etc where Vendors can have their own personalized websites such as the following: Main Site: [login to view URL] Vendor 1: [login to view URL] Vendor 2: www. [login to view URL] 2- Social Media Site (BuddyPress) A social network with typical social network features (posting, sharing, notifications etc) much like facebook’s basic options. Vendors/Sellers and Customers/Buyers could register individually where Vendors can share their listed items from their storefronts as a facebook user would and share it over with his friends (clients or other vendors). This Vendor Profile would also serve as their store front’s Back-End as well where Vendor could edit items listed in his store ([login to view URL]) or share items from his store over the network with the options of (Public, Friends Only, Select Friends Only) Clients/Buyers could also register and create their page and would have the option of being friends with other buyers and sellers. Get updates of new items added by their subscribed (friend) Vendor or items liked by other friends. Since most my clients are familiar with facebook. It would be of immense help if the site's coloring and functionality is as close to facebook as possible. ATTN: Writing Custom WordPress Plugins is a big part of this project. And the site is to be responsive for mobile devices.
