For a game app (app containing different games) for toddlers and engaging parents in the development of their toddler(s), we are looking for an Android game developer, with great 2D graphical skills and who can advise us and challenge our ideas.
The developer we are looking for must:
have 2D vector graphics skills (icons, splash screen, buttons, menus, game boards, etc.);
have Android development skills (or anything else, like e.g. html5 as long as it performs well on Android);
be able to develop resource efficient apps.
As we have some apps we want to realise, we want a developer we can continue to work with for future project. We are looking for a long term collaboration starting with this project.
The idea is to build a game that can be extended iteratively by including new games and features. The app will contain basic games as memory, find the object, name the object, etc.
Version 1.0 of the app can contain the following games:
Tap the object - after which the name of the object is heard;
Find the object - matching a spoken word or a written word;
What's the object? - name the displayed object;
Memory games - find matching objects.
Platform
The app has to work on the Android platform and we like to be advised by the developer whether it is better to develop an Android native app or an app that can be run on multiple platforms.
Graphics
We will provide the graphics in Vector format which in some cases have be be altered by the developer as some files will contain multiple objects (hopefully in separate layers). These graphics will be bought from stock websites which allow free usage of the graphics after payment.
Spoken words
To be decided.
Written words
We will provide a list of words for the developer convert to vector format graphics.
Menu
As the app is for toddlers, we want a graphical menu which in this case is a children's (play) room containing different clickable (menu) items like e.g. a drawing board, toy box, a pictures deck, a toy tool box, pile of books, etc. Each item corresponds to a game and as the app being extended with extra games, additional items can be added to the menu (room). This menu should be build as a multiple layered image.
The graphics (menu, game boards, background, icon, splash screen and buttons) have to appeal to toddlers.

Hi!
My name is John Cipponeri and I am an avid mobile game developer. I have experience developing games that work across all platforms in record time with speedy performance.
From the information you have supplied I can tell that your application would be very quick and simple to make a version 1.0 of. Once given all the assets I can complete version 1.0 of this project in less than 2 weeks.
As for native vs cross-platform software, in this case we would go cross-platform. This will save you costs, time, and headache. Your game isn't very processor intense so writing the game as a native application is an unnecessary hurdle.
I look forward to hearing back from you!
