I am seeking designers to build a website that allows users to determine maintenance costs for motor vehicles over periods of usage or time. The following aspects must be included in the website design:
1. Have maintenance and repair schedules for all major makes and models since 1995. This will be for cars, light trucks, bigger work trucks (I.e., F450s and above,) and motorcycles.
2. Users can input any logical combination of miles driven per year, years owned, total miles driven, or age of the vehicle to determine maintenance schedules.
3. Display scheduled maintenance (oil changes, fluid changes, brake change, etc) based on inputs in item 2., with corresponding costs. Also include mileage at which said maintenance will occur and the approximate month.
4. Include average unscheduled maintenance based on item 2., with corresponding costs. This includes timing belts, transmissions, etc. Also include mileage at which said maintenance will occur and the approximate month.
5. Provide a range of costs for the vehicle repairs and maintenance based on zip code. Seek to capture both dealer and other auto repair shop prices.
6. Project costs for a user-determined amount of time or miles (I.e., a car at 30,000 miles, but I would like to know how much costs would be over 40,000 miles.)
7. Add a feature that will factor manufacturer warranties into maintenance costs.
8. Let users see the cost of individual maintenance or repair items, not based on usage or time.
9. Allow users to choose different types of tires with costs and corresponding miles driven before needing to change them, and factor that into maintenance costs.
Additionally, create a user account system for people to save vehicle profiles.
