Website has to be slick, engaging, evocative but also communicate a sense of safety, expertise and knowledge. Not boring (we are digital and big data, so cutting edge), with a fair deal of eye-catching images / edited pictures.
A home page with non stock image conveying a sense of opportunity, challenge (positively), journey, adventure mixed with expertise, steadiness, rationality.
Non a corporate image, please, this is a personal site.
A blog session, to be updated a-la wordpress, an example session (where to showcase big data and digital cases, with headlines and summary pointing to a deeper article), a bio and contact page.
No stock boring images, please. Happy with edited images.
Dynamic, fluid, exciting yet reassuring conveying the sense of ' am on top of things which are challenging, in flux, and represent a big opportunity'.
User should have a WOW moment initially when landing on the site, and then the structure, imagery, fonts, and assets in general should communicate a sense of opportunity to grab with the safe and confident support of me.
Site has to be SEO optmised and very low management, with easy way to post (I have been using Wordpress and comfortable with that level of 'involvement').
Am indicating a budget of 250-750, but happy to consider slightly higher budget for outstanding individuals and ideas.
