Build a Website

We are seeking, under contract, a ‘front-end developer’ for creation of a user facing web application. Applicant will need to demonstrate deep competence in building applications using: - Git management controls - responsive design methodologies - source code origin tracking - [login to view URL] - html5 - javascript (using either: plain/coffeescript) - css (using either: less/sass) - build tools (using either: grunt/gulp/bower) - frameworks (using: backbone/marionette) The first five (5) items listed above are non-negotiable parts of the project infra-structure. The following four (4) items can be done using one of the bracketed methods (or an alternative suggested by the applicant that may be appropriate). Demonstrably proof, within historical projects, will be required prior to awarding contract to applicant. The project is a user facing web application that is responsible for: - integrating with our existing network services; - receiving real-time events over [login to view URL]; - visually monitoring real-time events - translating said for display to the screen and/or physical printout; - translating user intentions to requests on the same [login to view URL] transport - providing user intention/logic editing (featuring the Blockly method, allow end user definitions); The project will be staged in bi-weekly deliverables. Deliverables will be controlled by the client's contracted project management company VEQTOR UK. The initial project duration will be approx. 30 man days. The project will be managed within Git. Depending upon the success of the programmer future expansions to this project’s scope is extremely likely. Applicants will need to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and supply full audit trail where to all source of code integrated within their development to ensure rights to use and origin are documented. All rights to the works will be irrevocably vested with the client.
