I need either consulting to find and implement off-the-shelf solutions, or a custom or semi-custom solution, for an online platform to manage and track shipping of packages from the US to China We provide shipping services from the US to China. We need an online platform to manage and track packages from when they are received in the US until they pass customs and are handed off the local carriers in China. Online platform capabilities: Needed: From the business side 1. For each package, data entry of tracking number, name of addressee, destination address, destination phone #, 2. Easy entry of status updates, showing time and place of package receipt, shipment, arrival, pass customs, delivered to local carrier. 3. Data fields to show details of shipment, flight #, port of entry, times of arrival at each point in transit, etc. 4. Online access from the web in Chinese. 5. Ability to automate and expand capability of the platform as the business grows. 6. Printing shipping labels Desired: 1. usb bar code reader and usb scale to enter data directly upon receipt of package 2. automatic assignment of tracking numbers 3. ability to collect payment online 4. Interface in English 5. website accessible from China From customer side Need: 1. Ability to track packages online 2. Chinese interface Desired: 1. Ability for customer to request pickup online. 2.
