I moved out of California and have a client in Santa Cruz (Aptos) whom I need to hand off to a qualified Wordpress expert. The site is mostly built in Wordpress. It's replacing a Frankenstein's monster of a custom-built legacy site. Old site: [login to view URL] New site: [login to view URL] The new site is about to be launched in the next few days, and the URLs will be switched at that point. After that, I'm done. I need YOU to be there as the dust settles and tweak whatever needs tweaking immediately after launch, and then maintain/consult/whatever-you-want-to-propose after that. You'll need the following qualifications: - Patience with a non-techie client who is resistant to change and doesn't quite understand why things take so long and cost so much. - Local to Santa Cruz area because this guy needs at least one face-to-face. Although, the right candidate could work from afar, but you'd better be very reassuring. Now that I've scared 99% of you off, here's the rest of what you're gonna need to know to understand what I've built and help this poor dude maintain his new site: - WooCommerce - bbPress - Ultimate Member ([login to view URL]) - Gravity Forms Part of this was built by another Wordpress freelancer and she did some custom CSS that I've had to dig through. She used Visual Composer as well and a theme called the7. I did more of the plugin setup and she did the theming, basically. The client is kind of freaked out about his new site, but once things stabilize and he gets used to WordPress, this could turn into a great customer for the right consultant/WP guru/freelancer - whatever you call yourself. Don't respond without specifics that let me know you've read this and have genuine interest and capability for this job.
