We prefer you to build the site with YII framework(Custom php development). It's just that Yii is one of the best MVC architectures in the market. In fact Yii has many advantages, it has many similarities to CakePHP like relational tie up between different models (one to one, one to many and many to many relations). Yii allows the embedding of different widgets / components unlike any other MVC architecture. For example you can just include the login module as an widget without any additional effort unlike any other MVC platforms. Moreover it offers additional flexibility on role based access which helps when we have multiple users in the website. Security measures like Cross-site Scripting Prevention, Cross-site Request Forgery Prevention and Cookie Attack Prevention are enabled in Yii. Looking forward to your reply to proceed further.
