Build a Website and Mobile App for a Short Term Rental Cleaning Company

This project is to create a website and mobile app for a cleaning company that specializes in cleaning short term rentals. The business model of the company is that we provide the customer with all of the linens and consumables such as soap and shampoo that their rental property requires each time we come to clean, much like a hotel turndown service. We are able to clean their property for less time and money than a standard cleaning company because we arrive with the fresh linens, strip the used linens, and remove them back to our central facility for cleaning. The core functionality of the website and mobile app will provide our customers a way of signing up for the service and managing their cleaning calendar. The platform will have information about the service and an option to get a quote. The initial quote will be derived by a short, customizable, list of questions about the property such as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage of the rental. The quote will provide an initial list of expected linens and the required deposit as well as the cleaning fee for each cleaning visit. There will be options for add-ons such as additional linens, air mattresses, gift baskets, etc. Add-ons can increase the price of the deposit and/or the price of the cleaning. A customer can request add-ons for individual cleanings and make them default for all future scheduled cleanings. All of the management of what types of questions are asked to determine the price and the add-ons that we offer will be able to be controlled by an administrator of the platform. We only service a small area in the United states and customers will only be able to sign up in certain zip codes that can be managed. Customers will select from a customizable list of times their property is available for cleaning on a given day such as 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The time they select may have an additional charge attached. There will be a manageable cut-off time in order to schedule a cleaning. For example, a cleaning scheduled for June 3rd must be requested by June 2nd at 12:00 PM. Cancellations will have the same function. Additionally, one customer account will be able to add additional properties. Some of our clients are property management companies that manage dozens of properties and it will be easy for them to switch between properties to manage their options and calendar. A platform administrator will have access to all of the scheduled cleanings and have printable views of each day's cleanings. Printing the entire batch of cleanings, one per page, will be done at the click of one button.
