Website Brief This website is required to promote a new smart phone App. The website name is [login to view URL], this can be viewed today as we have a holding page. Our slogan is “Smarter Sharing”.Our linked in page can be seen viewed if you enter Roomies Ltd into linked in search. Our company is launching an app for Apple (and ipads) and Android phones, which is targeted at multiple housing occupancy. Essentially tenants who share a property together and find it difficult to manage the sharing of bills among each other (ranging from 2 to several multiples of tenants in one property). The Roomies bill management app allow the housemates of the property to create a group which each tenant has access to from their individual mobile phone, where they are able to allocate portions of the utility bills and rent which each Roomie must pay. Not only does the app track payments from each member but it monitors who has and who has yet to pay. Key characteristics of the website should demonstrate - A group for the property which is being shared (we would like the concept of group to have a social twist applied, like a community or sharing network). We imagine the highest demand of users will be university students therefore images of students in shared accommodation would be appropriate. Screenshots of the app can show the names of housemates within the group. - Bill shared among the housemates (bills include electricity, gas, water, phone, broadband) therefore we would like you to create appropriate images. Pictures of the app showing financial information such as the utility bills split among the group. We can provide screenshots which need to be incorporated. Users can see overdue, due and upcoming bills from a dashboard. - Messages , real time instant messaging system among group member to chat - Chores, e.g. buy milk, my turn to put of bins The use of Roomies app not only organises your shared financial costs, but also provides notifications and reminders for those all important appointments such as visits from the plumber, gas board and so on. By using the shared notification feature for your group this concept replaces the post it notes on a fridge. The concept of no longer needing to write down and track bills on paper which can be difficult to manage and keep track of should be portrayed as a headache and the solution is the Roomies app which is digital and automated. The website should be very modern and slick. We like the concept of having blurred images in the background however we like a simple site. The website should flow vertically with several section which users scroll down through. E.G 8 key sections, however if a user wanted to drill down deep into selected sections they can scroll left or right in a particular section. We can provide mocked up concepts of this PowerPoint. The website should make use of the logo colour scheme which consists of Orange, Green and Blue. We have two potential concepts to explore in terms of pictures used throughout the website, either classic photo’s (large images as background) or cartoon type sketches.
