Build master web site bringing together several existing subsites/blogs

[RESPONDENTS: TO BE CONSIDERED PLEASE DESCRIBE HOW YOU MIGHT APPROACH A SOLUTION ] A two part project: - to describe a design for what to do - to move the design into working blogs/websites (using existing blogs/sites). The crux of the problem is that I have multiple blogs and web sites (all simple) which I would like to bring under one visually coordinated master web site umbrella and accessible on personal computers, tablets and smartphones. I want advertising (eg Adsense) incorporated and SEO/Twitter/Tumblr linkages across all the sites/sub-sites. I want to add the content of existing web sites/blogs to go live. I have a Justhost account ready to be used (currently blank) with access to mySQL, Wordpress (though I am not wedded to Wordpress), etc. and a domain name already registered. The existing blogs are either [login to view URL] plus one hosted on a paid Justhost Wordpress site. None are complex. The common theme is essentially to be "me", as: - my own home page with blog, info about me AND with pointers/info to each of the sub-sites below (a blog on a nysub-site would also appear on this main home page) - fiction author sub-site (needing one sub-site with blog on sub-site home page) to list/describe the already written novels and talk about forthcoming ones (and possibly to sell ebooks); it would use existing content (2 pages max) - technology sub-site (needing one sub-site with blog on sub-site home page); it would use the content/layout from the existing JustHost Wordpress blog/site) - a new 'visiting buildings' sub-site (needing one sub-site with some form of blog on sub-site home page); it would have subsidiary information/photographs/maps for (say) 1000 individual buildings; this would start from scratch and in effect become an information resource for others) - a consulting and copywriting sub-site (needing one sub-site with blog on sub-site home page); this is currently combined with the technology blog (above) and could stay that way or become its own separate site; it would use existing content (7 pages max) - a house information sub-site (needing one sub site home page); it would use existing content (5 pages max, including photos) -. the ability to add additional sub-site home pages (with or without blogs) The objective is to create more interest and awareness across all my activities, so they cross-fertilise - as well as improve traffic via better SEO/etc. I am not committed to Wordpress. I am open to suggestions as to how this might be approached. The ability to have multiple parallel blogs is important, with (potentially) each new blog appearing on the main domain page (and pointing to the relevant sub-domain or part of a web site or whatever... Once an overall shape has been agreed, part 2 would be to implement the design and bring the existing content to the new design and take it live. To re-emphasize, to make a selection I will need some outline description of the proposed approach and technologies to be used.
