Design a Logo

We are a financial planning firm looking to re-brand our logo, website ([login to view URL]) and business cards. We want to keep the existing colour scheme, however we feel that the logo and website are dated and not ideal for a financial planning firm. We want our marketing to portray our purpose and provide clients with an insight into what differentiates us from other financial planning firms. Our main objectives are: Logo Design: - Gray and green colour scheme as follows: Gray: Hue: 240, Saturation: 3, Value: 51, Red: 127, Green: 127, Blue: 131 Green: Hue: 76, Saturation: 60, Value: 84, Red: 180, Green: 213, Blue: 86 - Simple, memorable, easy to use on various mediums (e.g. letterhead, business cards, website, etc.), and appropriate for a financial planning firm (e.g. professional, modern, etc.). - Ability to use logo standalone or with company name (Custodian Financial Group), as at the top left of our website ([login to view URL]). Our company isn't well known enough to be recognised by logo alone, so we would like it to be possible to use the logo with or without the company name interchangeably. - We would welcome any incorporation between our logo and a tagline'. This may be best included as a leaderboard on the website (see below). Website Design: - Our client base is primarily older individuals, so the website should be easy to navigate through the various pages and on all platforms (e.g. different browsers, mobile devices, etc). We would consider dynamic websites however this is not a requirement. - We are comfortable with the content on the existing site, however we would like the ability to add/remove text from the body of each page without disrupting the design. - Our current website is static and does not change with screen resolutions. We would like the site to fit to the users screen so that the menus and the body of the website do not appear as 'clunky'. We want as much of the content to fit on the users screen without the need to scroll. - The logo/leaderboard, navigation menu and body of our current website is disjointed. We would like continuity between the various aspects of the site. - We feel the current logo/leaderboard on the website is too big and would prefer something more streamlined. The leaderboard could remain with finance related pictures (e.g. stock market data, retired couples, etc.), however we would like to incorporate our tagline (we really want to promote our point of difference). We currently have the following in mind, however this may change in future and it would be best if any changes did not cause issues with the proposed design: Independent Advice No Investment Commissions A New Way of Doing Business Business Card Design: - Our current business card design is attached. The business card should be changed in line with the new logo and website and the colours should match those for the logo and website (the current business cards are slightly different). - The proposed design should include all the same information as the current business cards (i.e. names, post-nominals, position, licensing information and contact details. - We are happy for you to propose a design for the business cards, we just want consistency across everything (i.e. logo, website and business cards). Other Information: - Use Same colour scheme as for logo. - We use size 12 Calibri when writing client documentation. The text for the website is Arial and the text size is inconsistent across the various sections (we want to use the same text for everything and have consistency with the text size). We are happy for you to propose a specific text, however please keep in mind that it should be professional as it will be used for documents with a large amount of writing. Navigation menus, headings and the body of each page should all have their own text size. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any additional information.
