Design a Logo

I'm looking for a simple "D&H" logo for a law firm (DaSilva & Hilowitz LLP) to be used initially as a favicon for their website, and as a custom screen image for their phones (sample screen file provided). The logo or a variation of it will also be used for things like letterhead and business cards but that would be a separate job. There are two steps for the job: 1) come up with a design, for review and approval by myself and the client (which may take several tries), and 2) supply a [login to view URL] file and a phone screen wallpaper image file (in the format of the sample attached). The first step should produce a high-enough-resolution file that it can be used in the preparation of business cards, letterhead, and other items. The kind of symbol I am thinking of is something like an intertwined script "D&H", but that is just a suggestion -- I'm interested in anything you think would look good. The only requirement is that it convey the formality and professionalism of a high-end law firm. The image can be a single color or multi-color, so long as it is simple enough to distill down to favicon size yet nice enough to look good bigger. I'm thinking of a color scheme like walnut/burgandy/butterscotch or dark blue/dark gray, but again I'm open to your suggestions. The phone screen wallpaper file must be the exact size of the attached sample. There is also an image showing how the sample file looks on a phone. The phone fills in the stuff on the left and bottom; you are just providing the background. I have told the client that this will cost around $50. I'm not interested in bids over $80. This is something that should not take much time for an experienced designer.
