Design a Logo for International Women's Day

This is a project being run by several Rotary Clubs in the Box Hill (Melbourne, Australia) area to run a business breakfast on International Women's Day on an annual basis. The purpose of the event is to generate inspirational and practical ideas which can address women's issues – and provoke conversations that matter but in a light-hearted and informative session presented to a mainly corporate audience. The funds raised from the event will be donated to a charity which focuses on and assists women.
Each year, we have a different theme, but we need to develop a logo for the event which can be used permanently. The logo should be consistent with the colours, fonts and designs used by the official international IWD website. We don't wish to have a feminist, frivolous or angry feel about the logo. Instead, it should be serious, substantial yet stylish.
