How many product are we talking about in total? Importing CSV is not an issue, but bulk import of more than 10 items in prestashop is very problematic. first of all the images will not work. I just finished a job where the images were missing and for 1300 products it took 6 hours to do. There are ways around it but in will take some work to setup. The good news is that id does not have to be part of prestashop.... it can be made to work on its own, but prestashop will have the products when its done.
