Create Seperate Hyperlinks on each banner image / usemap?

We have a banner with rotating images on home page - [login to view URL] - We are using Flexslider - we used to use flash and then use usemap to allow multiple links on the same image - which we can for this also - but the problem is that this is a responsive design - so as the element get smaller - the stated dimensions for the usemap remain the same and we loose the ability to have appropriate links. Looking for anyone that might know of a good solution to this issue. Thanks
