I need a scheduling app for a nail salon. The app will determine which employee (technician) is next to service a customer. The criteria will be based on a number of factors, primarily the service to be performed and also the experience level of the technician. This will need to be done in RoR 4 and you will need to use javascript framework like Backbone, Angular or Ember, etc Please put nail Salon in the subject of the response. Logic * Turns are dictated by order of checkin * Checkins can be overridden * Actualtime is the actual time the technician spends doing a service * Turntime is the time "used" for a turn. Turns are equal based on price/time * Separate section for waxing. Use the same tables. * ServicePerform entries each will have an "add" button next to it. We can add as many services as we want. Next to each added service is a delete button. Can also assign the added service to Technician X as a place holder. Turntime: Each service is allocated a time value and time is fixed. Techs will depend on the Turn Time for job rotation. Turn time is not time completion of service. Turntime is fixed for each service and it is the same for each tech. Turntime determines each techs turn regardless how soon or how long it takes to do the service or services. Actualtime is a variable that could be different or the same for some techs. It helps the operator determine if the next tech is still working or is available for the next service with the next customer. If not, the next tech on the turn list will be next. The same Actualtime will be assigned to the masses but with the exceptions for the techs that are slower or faster, a different Actualtime will be assigned. In the last 10 minutes of Actualtime, indicator shoulder alert the operator. ex: flashing tech name. Job completion Time: Time it takes to complete a service. There is a general time for all techs to complete a service but some techs are exempt from the general time and must be appointed a different time value. This is really for the admin to review who's available in case customers are waiting. Queue Management: A checks in at 8:52:23, B checks in at 8:52:54 and C checks in at 8:54:03. Lets appoint Turn Time services: M1=20 mins, P1=30 mins and PQ=45 mins. Cust1 comes in at 9:01:19 for service P1 and since A is first, A will do the service. Cust2 comes in at 9:05:59 and request C to do M1 for her service. Cust3 comes in at 9:15:01 for PQ and B is next. D checks in at 9:50:01.
