Book design. Book on atheism in the UK for ages 11-14 years

This project is to handle the illustrations, layout and cover of a full colour book aimed at 11-14 year olds. Page size will be about 150 x 210mm. The plain text runs to about 60 pages in 10pt and the final book will be 96, 112 or 128 pages depending on design layout and illustrations. The designer MUST be based in the UK (to understand a reasonable amount about the UK education system) and MUST be a committed atheist and/or humanist. The book is designed for classroom use and for private study and covers a non-believer's view of life and religion. It is hoped that it will eventually become part of RE in schools. Top quality design, illustration and typography is required - use of Adobe Indesign preferred for typesetting. The preferred option is a joint venture with the author and the illustrator sharing net income 50/50. The author will fund up-front publishing and distribution costs and take these out of initial income. This project provides an opportunity for a designer to generate IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) that may generate revenue for years to come. On the other hand, it may be a total failure.
