HI, I'm a VA myself and have found a niche market working with Australian IT Industry. The demand is intense, the pay is fantastic. These are Australians, who understand the value of good service and need help with admin, marketing and simply keeping their lives in order. These are the guys who are writing iPad and iPhone apps, software for medical devices, the latest game like Angry Birds etc. You name it, they are developing it. We're looking for Premium Assistants, not fresh starters....not yet anyway. We need switched on, technology smart, virtual professionals who can help make our customers lives easier and provide them more time to work with their clients. You must understand Twitter....and LinkedIn. You must understand the difference between a developer and a designer. Please do your homework before applying. In your proposal tell me your minimum rate and your ideal rate....I hope we can exceed it! I"m looking to change the way VA's work in Australia and provide opportunities for women to do meaningful work, at a valuable rate. This is premium work....will discuss compensation options with those who are shortlisted. I'm looking for 5 or more High End Australian Professionals in Marketing, Writing, Design, Social Media and Executive Assistance to kick this off. Good luck!

Hello! I'm new to freelancer.com. but I am excited to be part of it. My first job was a tech support rep for a dsl acct. It was a difficult start because I'm not very technical savvy. this job as taught me all the basics of the call center, how to communicate, how to instruct without being condescending, how to work with racist customers, how to be analytical and creative. My next job was a customer rep for a mobile account in Australia for almost 2years. T^he job has humbled me and has taught me to be extra patient with customers. it was different from my previous job because, the company focuses more on what the customers will say about the company. the job also taught me how to interpret bills, handle complaints, transact and negotiate with customer disputes. It was a new experience because i have understood how mobile world works, from sms, mms, voicemails and gprs. I can say , I am capable of the jon though, this would be a new experience for me, I'm willing to learn about the task.

Hello there, I'm going to point out the obvious and say that I'm not located in Australia: But I surely hope that doesn't deter you. I've worked in the IT and software industry as a Regional Manager and Assistant to CEOs. I'm well aware of the difference between those who develop the front end, and the back end. I have perfect English, a graduate with a Communications Degree, and no issue with the time difference between Australia and America. I do hope to be working with you as a comrade soon!
