Circulate the results of our research project to web / media

Hi there, I think this job looks very doable in terms of getting this press release distributed. My current job is as a media officer for a debt advice charity so I am well connected in the financial world (which has a natural interest in these matters). I previously ran the media and communications for a UK Government Cabinet Minister (2012-2015). Are you interesting in having the actual press release re-written? I spy room for improvement which will help it get pick-up. Also, I'd like to take the press release and alter it for different media outlets. A British media outlet is very unlikely to pick up the release as it is since they don't necessarily want to go digging for the UK info. Journalists aren't necessarily lazy, they just have limited spare time. You have to practically write the story for them. I would extract the information and place it into a table and look to target the top 10 "worst" countries media. In short, I would: - Compile a press database for you which you can use for future press releases - Redraft/jazz up the press release and tailor it for specific countries media - Look to identify friendly journalists and demarcate them in the database in order that you know who to turn to in the future for a story. - Act as a point of call for UK-based journalists (at least). Hi, I understand what you are trying to do with this project. You have done some great research and you want to disseminate it. On Freelancer (as you also pointed out) you will find lots of people willing to provide links, post to blogs etc etc. But what you need is as many high quality placings of the "news" as possible for your budget. My approach would not be a "mass" approach. It would be one that I have used in the past. First, I would research bloggers and terrestrial media journalists as well as twitter users who have an interest in the topic. Then I would reach out to them personally and ask them to consider the information contained in your research.
