I have previous experiences on the algorithm development for analysis of ECG signals and have related IEEE paper and patents. Those have basically dealt with the signal analysis using hybrid of low-powered filtering and CWT. All these developments have been first tested using Matlab and then implemented in low-powered microcontroller based system. So, I have hands on experience on dealing with the database of biomedical signals using Matlab and their processing. Right now, I have been working on the analysis of EEG signals and have been using DWT for the analysis of the onset detection of epilepsy using EEG signal. My research works are ongoing. I think I could be an ideal candidate for your project since certain parts of it are related to my already done works and that I feel your project work could be helpful for my research works too.
