Decode QR Code and output txt file -- 2

Background: The software will be used to create courier labels from delivery addresses printed on packing lists as a QR Code. Our current courier is only able to process incoming consignments from .txt files, therefore we need to de-code the QR code back to .txt file. We will be using an external scanner to scan the QR code. The software will also allow us to specify COURIER or POST. Courier Option: After scanning the QR code the software will ask additional questions to the user: 1. Service Required – There are 6 different services that the courier gives us: 1 - Next Day 2 - Pre Noon 9 - 10:30am Delivery 48 - Highland and Islands 4 - Saturday Delivery 3 - 9:30am Delivery (Defaulted to: 1 – NEXT DAY DELIVERY) 2. Number of Boxes – How many parcels are we sending 3. Comments – Free text field The software will then transfer the decoded text and the data from the above options to a .txt file. This file will be saved to a user defined location that is defaulted once chosen (but can be changed if needed). Example output .txt contents: Miravue Skin>Alliance UK Ltd>Medical Centre>Shackleton Road>Southall>AB1 4AH>117816>1>2>Leave with Neighbour The highlighted part is from the options above ie service>no of boxes>comments The software will overwrite the text file after every scan. Post Option: If post is selected then the software will simply print an address label to a thermal printer. Importantly the software will default to courier option unless otherwise clicked.
