I'd like some custom javascript that either extends or reproduces the functionality of the jquery click-menu plugin at [url removed, login to view] to include the following functionality: the popup menu is triggered from an onclick event attached to a span element, rather than by being declared in the jquery 'ready' block. The function in the onclick event will receive an integer id that will be appended to the url provided in the menu definition. The popup will be used to update the status of any of a series of elements listed in a vertical table. The popup menu will provide options like 'Mark complete', 'Mark suspended', or 'Mark 50% complete'. I will declare the popup within my code as something like: <span onclick="popupMenu(menu2, 14);">Update plan</span>. Thus, when the item is clicked, menu2 will appear, and any url clicked from the menu will have the id 14 appended to it. The popup menu should be styled like the "stylish menu" in the click menu demonstration site: [url removed, login to view] The popup should support a two-tier menu like example two at [url removed, login to view] The javascript and css to support this functionality should be contained in separate, fully documented files.
