Block Diagram Visualization Web App

The goal of this project is to create an interactive three level network diagram visualization for online usage. The diagram will allow others to conceptually explore the thousands of relationships represented in the world’s largest integrated assessment model. Technical Specifications • Must be written in HTML5 Javascript and CSS3, unless the coder can argue for a better alternative that satisfies the technical requirements and meets the user experience • Overall size of app in a web browser is a 700px X 700px box (the exact size is debatable as well) • Must be compatible in Chrome, IE (7 and above), Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera • Must be able to load on iOS, Android, Blackberry mobile device browsers and iPads • Must be able to be embedded in a web page written in HTML The actual object will be split into three sections: Block Diagram, Information Panel and Main Controls. This object will be embedded within a broader web page. You are responsible for creating the object. Please familiarize yourself with the attached files for greater detail about the project specifications. All suggestions (conceptual, technical, design, ect…) are welcome and will be entertained.
