Convert small features from Chrome to Firefox addon

We need to implement three small features that already exist in our Chrome add-on into our Firefox add-on. The features that have to be converted will work exactly the same way and the same code can be used in both add-ons, however some functions might be different in Chrome and Firefox add-ons, besides that it should be an easy and a quick task.
