Hello, I am Milda, I have studied Landscape architecture at university for four years. During the study period I have gained a lot of theoretical knowledge and skills about beauty, design, plants, small architecture and had learnt to apply them in practice. Later I entered university, studied botany and got botany master degree. I can make plans using AutoCad program in 2D format or convert it to PDF format. I am a Certified Landscape Designer based in Southern Ontario. I bring to the table nearly two decades of experience in design experience including almost 10 years in the training and teaching of other landscape professionals and students across North America. I have worked with small design firms, in garden centers and finally have been a freelance designer for the past 10 years. Having grown up in the landscape industry I have a firm knowledge of the practices and principles of many aspects of the industry and bring this knowledge to the forefront of all my projects. I involve my clients in the process, having them create needs and wants lists, providing me photos of project they like, etc - afterall they have to live with the end result and it should be something that reflects their personality, tastes and needs. My plant knowledge is extensive and I'm never afraid to research what I don't know. I am always attending workshps and seminars provided by suppliers and our provincial landscape association to broaden my skills. I believe by broadening my skills I can offer my clients a better product. I offer all my drawings as a CAD based drawing. By creating CAD based drawing this allows for quick and easy revision as well as a digital format for sharing files. I have been working with clients both locally and online sharing information electronically to complete landscape plans for them and have been successful creating plans they have been happy with!
