The objective of the project is to connect an exited mpeg2-dvb electronic program guide (EPG) generator to MySql database. The EPG is already implemented based on open-source project ffpmeg over linux. Currently the EPG is reading it's meta data from an XML file and injecting the correct tables (EIT, TDT and TOT) over the mpeg2 transport stream. Our intention is to change the EPG interface to MySql instead of the current XML file. The EPG meta data includes for example program names ,start/stop time and a short description for each program. This project is part of an ongoing development of an mpeg2 transport stream muxer, and will lead to more tasks on the same project. The verification will be done using an mpeg2/dvb transport stream analyzer. Attached is a sample of a XML file and MySql dump. The sql is not completely defined yet. In order to develop business relationships for future projects, we will prefer developer with knowledge in mpeg2 and DVB transport stream. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks
