check google adwords conversion code for Magento shop

For our Magento based webshop we have introduced adwords campaigns. A conversion code has been added. The code does not seem to work properly, since conversions are not being tracked in adwords. We have also added google analytics. The google analytics account does track conversions. We need a certified Magento AND Adwords expert to help us check why the conversion tracking does not work.
Pls do not apply if you have not faced a similar problem in the past and solved the issue succesfully.
