Access Database for stock analysis

Hello I am an exclusive MS Access developer completely dedicated to this platform - I do not work on any other database. I am also among the top three MS Access developers on this site. Basically the sheet called "compair" is aggregating the various data from different dates and comparing the previous rank with the current one. I think this could be easily accomplished in Access. Conditional formatting is also possible in MS Access. The first sheet "ABCD" is not very cleat though. I look forward to hearing from you with more details. regards Rajiv

Hello, I am certain I can help you out with your project request. I do have a few questions: 1. From where do you source your daily stock information? 2. Is your list of ticker symbols static or does it change? If it does change how frequently does that occur? Assuming your list does change, would you be OK with maintaining an Excel table of current symbols you wish to see data for that would be used to drive daily updates? 3. Do you ever stop tracking a stock? And if so, do you wish to keep or purge the history from those? 4. Do you only deal in the US markets or are there also foreign exchanges and currencies involved? 5. How proficient with Access are you? How do you want these sheets to appear in ms access? Do you want them as individual tables or would you want it to append all those sheets plus any future import into one master table. We could have a form with a drop down list and filter to the data you want to see. Let me know if this interests you or if you have something else in mind?
